Every drawer comes with file bars built in, so hanging folders stay lined up instead of bunching together or sliding to one side every time a drawer opens. There's also an ADA lock included, which means the cabinet is already set up to meet accessibility height standards — you don't have to retrofit anything. If you'd like the drawers to actually lock, keys are sold separately for $29 a set.
The finish is Steelcase 7225 Fieldstone, a warm, grounded neutral that reads a bit richer than a standard grey and works well in offices that want something a step above the usual beige. It's used, but in solid, working condition — the kind of piece that still has a lot of life left in it.
