Some documents can't be replaced once they're gone: contracts, medical records, financial files, legal paperwork. This fireproof vertical file is built to protect them. It's a 4-drawer, legal-size cabinet that stands 31.5" deep, so it holds full legal folders without anything hanging over the edge.
You can choose from four units, each a different brand and finish. There's a Fireking in black at 22"W, a Schwab in light grey at 19"W, a Hercules in putty at 22"W, and a Schwab in putty at 19"W. The 19"W units suit tighter spaces, and the 22"W units give you a bit more room per drawer.
Every unit is rated UL Class 350, 1-Hour Fire, and carries a UL 30-foot impact rating, so it's tested to survive a serious fall as well as extreme heat. It also holds an ETL 1/2-Hour rating for digital media, which makes it a good place for backup drives, not just paper. The UL high-security key lock is included with a key. The cabinets are water-resistant too, which matters because sprinklers and fire hoses can damage records as badly as flames can. All of them are made in the USA.
